ReplyDeleteHello Alyona,
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the reference details. What about the article itself? Why did you choose to read it? What did it make it think about?
Dear All, thanks for sharing the reference details for the articles you have chosen. Can you add a couple of sentences explaining what attracted you to this article and what issues it raises?
ReplyDeleteI was planning that the next task you'll have to do is to write the first draft of a For-and-against essay on one of the topics from V. Evans' book Successful Writing I shared with you during the previous class. As a reminder i have listed these topics below:
ReplyDelete1. Animals should be treated with the same respect as people
ReplyDelete2. One language spoken worldwide would lead to better international relations
ReplyDelete3. Celebrities should be allowed to keep their private lives private, without the invasion of the media
ReplyDelete4. What are the advantages of ever-increasing use of computer technology
ReplyDeleteToday I would like to share the reference details for the article that I have chosen. So I have just read an interesting article in The Guardian by Luisa Dillner "What’s the best diet for losing all the weight you put on over Christmas?", 5 Jan. 2018, https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2018/jan/05/what-best-diet-losing-weight-dash-mediterranean I find it interesting to read because getting weight during Christmas or New Year holidays can be an actual problem for some people, and I find this article usefull as well, because here you can find diets which are best for short- and long-term weight loss, which are easiest to follow, which you are most likely to stick with – and which are unsafe because they don’t supply enough nutrients.
ReplyDeleteHello Yana, thanks for sharing the reference details for the article you have found interesting and giving brief details about it
